About me
I trained as an End-of-Life Doula to help restore some of the sacredness and community that once surrounded dying.
I sit with people in whatever they're feeling: fear, love, regret, acceptance, even humour. I help families talk about the hard things, create space for goodbyes, honour traditions or build new rituals, and ease practical burdens so what remains is connection and meaning. Being present at life's end is profound and humbling.
My approach is rooted in deep listening and respect for each person's unique values, beliefs, and wishes—no agenda, just presence. I believe everyone deserves to approach death feeling seen, supported, and surrounded by what brings them peace.
Outside this calling, I am a wife, mum, dog lover, long-time community volunteer, and someone who finds meaning in nature.
I'd be honoured to walk with you or your loved ones during this tender time."
In 2021, I decided to become an End of Life Doula. Since then, I did the training with Preparing the Way. This year, I continue in my study of the accredited Certificate IV in End of Life Doula Services.
My next adventure at age ninety is going to be dying. There is either nothing or something. And if there is something, and I believe there is based on my experiences and those of other people, I can't think about a greater adventure than finding out what it is.
